Distorted vocals through a practice amp. The trebly hot mess Grime Stone sound. Started out listening to this one and immediately found myself comparing it to every other take on this idea in the catalog. Intro. First song. Second song. Third so… whoa what was that? Talk about burying the lede. Pop sensibilities? Short story: if this were a single comprised of just the last two songs, I’d give it 4 stars just for its mashup of Hüsker Dü with the GSR black metal sound. I’d completely wear that record out. | 3.25 out of 5 stars.
